Masses Offered for A Culture of Life and Pro-Life Advocates |
Laity for Life recognizes the inestimable value of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass
and the Holy Eucharist in the continuing renewal and strengthening of our
pro-life energies. As the Second Vatican Council proclaimed, the Eucharist is "the source and summit of the Christian life," including, we believe, all pro-life work in the
name of Christ.
We believe we can make no greater contribution to the pro-life movement than to assist in arranging for hundreds and thousands of Masses to be specially celebrated, all across the United States and in other countries, for the good people who devote themselves to pro-life
work and the success of their tireless efforts to build a Culture of Life.
Our core program, then, is a continuous request for as many Masses as possible. These can
easily be requested at a parish office or a monastery or from a Catholic mission in need of financial support in a distant land. Simply pay the modest stipend
requested and ask that a Mass be offered for "Laity for Life and all those involved in the pro-life movement."
Then drop us a note with the location, date and time and we'll post it here on our website.

Pro-Life Speaker Training |
Laity for Life believes that one of the most important skills
in pro-life work and advocacy is the ability to effectively, pursuasively
articulate pro-life information and values. We hope to secure
sufficient funding to train young people and adults
in public speaking and pro-life "apologetics."

Inspirational Laypeople for Life |
One
of Laity for Life’s long-term goals is to offer “regular
refills” of pro-life inspiration - in the stories of the
many lay Catholic pro-life leaders of our day. We’re richly
blessed with the deep wisdom and profound faith accumulated by
this “cloud of witnesses” over the last 35 years. We
can all take heart in recognizing parts of ourselves in their
experiences.

Annual Laity for Life Mass |
Another
dream of ours is for an annual, nationally televised Mass celebrated
for “Laity for Life and all those involved in the pro-life
movement.” It could be yet another inspiration -
a moving example of how beautiful and meaningful a special Mass
for the pro-life movement can be. Great preaching and rich sacred
music will augment the occasion. |
